It was going to be over $1200 for the WhisperFlo so I opted to try out the VIVOHome 2 HP Pump available from Amazon for $269. It ended up being a great replacement. The documentation on the wiring was lacking, but the install was super easy, but since there wasn't any wiring documentation I made the DIY video to make sure anyone wanting to install this cost saving pump was able to do so with the confidence that it is going to work. The pump runs quiet, but it can get hot while running. Mine lasted just over 2 1/2 years. How To Repair Structural Cracks in a Swimming Pool the RIGHT Way

https://leaktronics.com In this episode of Turning Leak Detection Into Repair Work, we were called to a pool that had previously undergone a leak detection and revealed structural cracking. What happens here is, we don't take someone elses word for it. We began our process with finding where the cracks were and deciding on how repairs would be made ourselves. The pool was green upon arrival and needed to be drained and cleaned. You'll see in the video, this also required using an acid-wash to get it clean. After what you see in the video, we also applied some cleaning to the surface due to a waterline stain that was caused from the pool sitting stagnant for as long as it did. Once the pool was drained and cleaned, we misted and mapped the surface to bring out the full detail of structural cracks in the shell. We marked their location for where repairs would be made and began cutting. Using a hand grinder, we cut wide along the cracks, giving us room to properly install the Torque Lock Structural Staples. The only patented post-tension controlled-compression staple on the market, and the only tool guaranteed to provide up to 5000lbs of compression along both sides of a crack - assuring it wont separate, shear or re-crack in the future. With the channel cut wide, we marked where our staples would be set, drilled and chipped, then inserted the staples. We applied approximately 24lbs of torque to the staples and began the process of covering them with hydraulic cement. Once covered, we applied a waterproof coating for added protection after installation. The pool was now ready for re-applying the mud, as you'll see in the video. Having a professional familiar with color matching helps, you'll see how closely the new Pebbletec match was when the pool was complete. Short video showing how the internal pumps work on Raypak XTherm. 2 million btu and smaller. The short circuiting of water happens on that cross over bridge allowing some of the hot water from the discharge of the heater to combine with the twin variable speed pumps pushing into the stainless steel secondary and then into the suction of the main boiler pump. The twin variable speed pumps are controlled by the Versa control to keep the inlet to the copper heat exchanger from condensing. The single pump is at a constant speed when the heater is firing.
